Chuck’s Produce is a specialty grocery store dedicated to offering fresh, locally sourced produce alongside a curated selection of high-quality food and retail experiences. The store features an on-site ice cream shop, coffee bar, full-service deli, and artisan bakery with a dedicated seating area for customers. Additional departments include meat and seafood, dry goods, bulk foods, and an outdoor nursery. Shoppers can also explore a gift shop, wine shop, and a lecture room designed for culinary classes and demonstrations. Columbia Dance Ensemble (CDE) has partnered with Swerhone Architecture to reimagine a former auto service station into a dynamic new home for dance. This 10,000-SF industrial space, with its high ceilings, exposed timber trusses, and skylights, provides the perfect setting for movement and creativity. The renovated facility will feature three modern studios designed for ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance instruction. Additional amenities include dressing rooms, showers, prop and costume storage, private offices, and a retail area. 112 10th Street (now E. Evergreen) Cross Street is Broadway, Vancouver, WA The restoration of 112 10th Street was made possible by the vision and dedication of its new owners, Doug Walker and Mark Fisher. What began as a building with a largely forgotten history was rediscovered through meticulous research after its 1960s-era façade was removed, unveiling its original 1927 design by renowned Vancouver architect Day Walter Hilborn and engineer Richard V. Gough. East Delta Park Softball Complex
This unique sports pavilion sits as the centerpiece among five softball diamonds, with its dramatic vaulted ceiling, including a wraparound clerestory band of windows. This development was designed for the City of Portland, Parks and Recreation, and the Portland Softball Association. Swerhone Architecture together with Jim Walsh & Associates, designed this center. The 3,500-SF building is placed on a raised plaza. Amenities offered: concessions, restrooms, offices, and gathering places to watch great softball.
