The Point at Bridgeport

Lifestyle Retail Center Design

The Point at Bridgeport is a 41,440-square-foot lifestyle retail center located in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most desirable shopping destinations. As part of the early design team, Derrick Swerhone worked closely with developers to shape this vibrant commercial project, positioned just off I-5 and Boones Ferry Road in Tualatin, Oregon.

Adjacent to the well-known Bridgeport Village, this center enhances the area’s growing reputation as a premier retail hub. Designed with a parking ratio of 5.1 per 1,000 SF, the site ensures convenient access and a seamless shopping experience for both visitors and tenants.

The project embraces new urbanist design principles, which Derrick helped pioneer more than a decade ago. These concepts—now standard in the district—focus on walkability, smart site planning, and engaging public spaces.

Through strategic design and community-focused planning, The Point at Bridgeport plays a key role in the continued evolution of Tualatin’s retail landscape.
