Senior Affordable Housing Community

Wisteria Manor is a thoughtfully designed 24-unit apartment community that provides affordable housing for low-income seniors in Vancouver, WA. Swerhone Architecture created a welcoming and functional living environment that balances comfort, accessibility, and a strong sense of community.

This three-story building features a double-loaded corridor layout, maximizing space and allowing every unit convenient access to shared amenities. Each floor includes a common dayroom, encouraging social interaction and relaxation. In addition, residents can enjoy private balconies, a spacious outdoor recreation area, and individual garden plots, which promote wellness and independence.

Funded and managed by the Vancouver Housing Authority, Wisteria Manor is more than just a housing complex—it’s a place where seniors can feel safe, supported, and connected. The project reflects a commitment to quality, dignity, and thoughtful design in senior living.
