While serving as principal architect with Avalon (1998–2012), Derrick designed this 8,000 SF church fellowship center in rural Clark County, WA. The architectural concept features a dramatic porte cochere at the main entry, creating a welcoming arrival experience. Inside, the building includes a 1,200 SF sanctuary with a spacious vaulted ceiling, large administrative offices, flexible classroom spaces, and a 1,375 SF dining hall with an adjacent warming kitchen—supporting both worship and community functions.
