Union Station
While principal at Talent’s Architecture, LLC, Derrick Swerhone served as Project Architect for Union Station, a mixed-use development featuring two retail buildings designed to accommodate diverse commercial and recreational uses.
Building 2 is a 14,279 SF wood-frame structure with 65-foot bays, including a 5,000 SF south-end restaurant complemented by an exterior plaza. The building supports multiple occupancy types: Business (B), Mercantile (M), and Assembly (A-2).
Building 3 encompasses 15,515 SF of fully sprinklered wood-frame construction, featuring a 5,000 SF restaurant with a mezzanine anchor at the south end. Additionally, it includes 7,000 SF of high-ceiling space (24’–36’) designed specifically for climbing walls. Occupancies include Business (B), Mercantile (M), and Assembly (A-2).
This project showcases versatile design solutions tailored to retail, dining, and active recreation tenants.
