Mill Creek Crossing is a unique residential development for the City of The Dalles, Oregon. This Planned Unit Development is a first for the community. Avalon provided conceptual and schematic design for this design/build project. Swerhone Architecture worked closely with the general contractor/developer, Design Structures of The Dalles, in all aspects of the project.

This 46-home subdivision is located on a 7-acre parcel that slopes approximately 15% north to south. The project density is 6 homes per gross acre, with 30% common open space. The site design emphasizes pedestrian circulation and quality landscaping using native materials. The homes present a variety of floor plans and exterior elevations.
