Living Hope Church
Living Hope Church Master Plan & Tenant Improvements
Living Hope Church, a vibrant non-denominational fellowship, has been serving the Vancouver community since 2005. The church occupies an 86,000 SF former retail building—an unconventional yet deeply functional space that supports its dynamic and growing ministry.
Swerhone Architecture has been proud to support Living Hope in transforming this “big-box” structure into a place of worship and community. We worked closely with the local fire marshal and building department to reclassify the building from an “M” (mercantile) to an “A-3” (assembly) occupancy, enabling the church to operate safely and legally.
We continue to collaborate with Living Hope’s building committees on a long-term master plan to guide growth across the two-acre site. Recent improvements include:
-
Coffee Shop, Classrooms, and Retail Space
3,700 SF Tenant Improvement | A-3 Occupancy
A welcoming, multi-use space supporting hospitality, teaching, and outreach. -
Daycare Facility
3,700 SF Tenant Improvement | A-3 Occupancy
A nurturing environment designed to support families and serve the broader community.
This ongoing partnership reflects a shared vision of transforming space for mission, community, and everyday life.
